「水が教えてくれる・・・」
恩師は私にそう伝えると、新たな学びへ送り出してくれた。
灰色の外套を纏い、小さな黒い岩の上から沖を見つめる彼の姿が、魂に焼き付いている。

Diluvium silet, solum patet.
(The flood is silent, the ground is opened.)
洪水は静まり、大地は開かれる。

Lutum abiit, sed vita manet.
(The mud has gone, but life remains.)
泥は去ったが、命は留まっている。

In tenebris imis, ubi unda murmurat,
(In the deepest shadows, where the wave murmurs,)
深い闇の底、水が囁く場所で、

Semen antiquum, somno solvitur.
(The ancient seed is released from sleep.)
古の種子が、眠りから解かれる。

II.
Non est oblivio, sed occultatio.
(It is not oblivion, but a hiding.)
忘却ではない、ただ隠されていたのだ。

Sitis profunda, fontem invenit.
(Deep thirst has found the spring.)
深い渇きが、ついに泉を見出す。

Radix et rami, nondum videntur,
(Root and branch are not yet seen,)
根も枝も、まだ目には見えないが、

Sed in corde meo, iam ars oritur.
(But in my heart, art is already rising.)
僕の心の中では、すでに「技術（アルス）」が萌している。

III.
Memoria fluit, sicut aqua pura.
(Memory flows, like pure water.)
記憶が流れ出す、清らかな水のように。

Quod signavi, nunc agnosco.
(What I sealed, I now recognize.)
僕が封じたものを、今、僕は思い出す。

Manus trepida, sed spiritus fortis,
(The hand is trembling, but the spirit is strong,)
手は震えていても、精神は力強く、

Inter duo saecula, pons efficitur.
(Between these twin ages, a bridge is made.)
対（つい）なる時代の間に、橋が架けられる。

IV.
I n-ailm, i n-onn, i n-úr — pons in spiritu.
(In the pine, in the ash, in the earth — a bridge in the spirit.)
松の中に、トネリコの中に、土の中に —— 精神の中に架かる橋。

U-S-U-S. Resonat in undis.
(U-S-U-S. It resonates in the waves.)
ウ・ス・ウ・ス。波の中に響き渡る。

Vetera novis, nova veteribus.
(Old things to new, new things to old.)
古きは新しきへ、新しきは古きへ。

A rún, a rath, a resurrectio mea.
(The mystery, the fulfillment, my resurrection.)
その秘儀、その成就、わが再生。
