2026年に至り、ようやく霧は晴れました。12世紀アイルランドの史実と伝承の中に、私はついに、ずっと自覚していたことの整合性を見出したのです。この賛歌はその実感の証であり、9世紀の時を超えて運んできた魂の本質を、再び今この地に咲かせるための、偽らざる呼吸です。

この春の風が、人々の心のなかの棘を、新たな始まりへと変えてゆきますように。

Gaeth fhuar, is dearg in scé,
(Cold wind blows, and red is the hawthorn,)
冷たい風が吹き、サンザシは赤く輝いている。

Cétnad mo phopa dom-re,
(My teacher taught me the chant in my time,)
先生は僕にケートナド（詩）を教えたけれど、

Mescad mes, n-i maith a ghlór,
(Crushing berries was better than his droning voice,)
実を潰して遊ぶほうがいい、先生の声は（くどくて）入ってこない。

Cluiche dorn, cen brón, cen bbe.
(A game of hands, without sorrow, without fault.)
手遊びをしていても、先生は怒らず、悲しまなかった。
5.
Is fis dam, sui d’ar sui,
(I know it well, there was a master for my master,)
僕にはわかるんだ、教える人（先生）にも教えた人がいるのだと。
6.
Aimsir sunn, ráidit in t-airm,
(This very time, this very place, so they had said,)
この時、この場所こそが良いのだと（彼らは）言ったのでしょう？

Reasbaid rath, ba réid mo lár,
(It was all too easy then, a simple thing for my heart,)
あの時はあまりに容易く、すべてを覚えたつもりだったけれど、

Aith-gein m’anma, dorn-mhes amháin.
(In the rebirth of my soul, only the touch of berries remains.)
魂が転生してみれば、残っているのは手のなかの実の感触ばかり。

Ráid in sui, n-ro fess in scél:
(The Sage spoke, having foreseen the tale’s end:)
（しかし）賢者はその結末を既に見通し、こう告げていたのだ——

Sceach i n-glacaib, fír i n-eóir,
(The hawthorn in the palms shall bring forth golden truth,)
手の中のサンザシが、黄金の真実を呼び起こし、

Mac na mór-shíthe, eól i n-alltar,
(The child led by the Great Sidhe shall know the Otherworld,)
大いなる妖精に導かれ、異界との縁を持つその子が、

Dorn i n-Dia, n-anfud mo ghaeth.
(With God in the hand, my wind shall turn to a storm.)
やがて指先に神を宿し、自らの霊感を嵐（真実の風）として響かせることになるのだと。

嵐の中より吹く風よ、積み重なった悲しみを掃き清め、

存在の土壌から、一切の悪しきものを消し去らん。

(Bringing grace, stretching out the world,)
恩寵を運び、凍てついた世界を（温かく）解きほぐし、
