青銅の杖は良い音がしたに違いない。
オークの杖は、彫り物をせずともそれ自体が蛇のようである。
石造りの建物も、青銅の杖も循環の理にはやや反するが、
９００年残さなければならないことを考えれば選択肢は多くない。
私自身の計画というよりも、おそらくより大きな力の蜿を感じながら
私は当時の人々を説得していたに違いない。

積み上げられた経験（熟練）は、決して虚無の重みではない。

Acta sequuntur, semina crastina fundunt.
(Deeds follow, sowing the seeds of tomorrow.)
行いは付き従い、明日の種を蒔く。

Bonum et malum, ad fontem propriae mentis,
(Good and evil, to the fountain of one’s own mind,)
善も悪も、己の心の源泉へと。

Refluunt undae, sicut aestus ad litus.
(The waves flow back, like the tide to the shore.)
波のごとく還り来る、岸辺に寄せる潮のように。

Animae dos, qualitate operis crescit,
(The soul’s dowry increases by the quality of the work,)
魂の資質は、行いの質によって増す。

Lux fiet via, si pigritia procul abit.
(The way shall become light, if sloth departs far away.)
怠惰を遠ざければ、道は光となるだろう。

Nihil perit, quod corde pio paratur,
(Nothing perishes, that is prepared with a faithful heart,)
敬虔な心で備えたものは、何一つ失われない。

Electa sequere, quae tibi reddi peroptas.
(Follow what is chosen, that which you most desire to be returned to you.)
選ぶが良い、汝に還ってきて欲しいものだけを。

Ur, Ulex, Usus — nudis verbis, nuda veritas.
(Heather, Gorse, Mastery — in naked words, the naked truth.)
ヘザー、ハリエニシデ、熟練 —— 剥き出しの言葉による、剥き出しの真実。

Rithim in ratha, ratha in rithim.
(The wheel into grace, grace into the wheel.)
円環は恩寵に、恩寵は円環に。

A ré, a rún, a rath.
(The time, the mystery, the fulfillment.)
